FLINDERS FOX TROTTERS

The interest for the country way of life was born into all of us.  We all grew up with ranching and riding horses.  It was in 1993 that the Missouri Fox Trotter was introduced into the Flinders family by George “Judd” T. Flinders.

There, the passion for the breed grew and we soon had some of the most prestigious bloodlines in our herds.

Flinders Fox Trotters are bred for a natural fox trot gait, gentle disposition and outstanding confirmation.  We want our horses to have “good horse sense”. The versatility to be able to perform the disciplines that are required by the individual owner/trainer whether herding cattle, running barrels or trail riding. 

The focus for our own stock is to be great mountain horses.  We want them to be able to move through the steep, rough terrain with sure footed accuracy, be able to pack and of course maintain stamina and endurance.

We are proud to be lifetime members of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association.
